Alexis Taylor Interiors
The Client: Alexis Taylor Interiors (formerly A+T Interiors) helps homeowners in Atlanta create beautiful, functional living spaces.
The Situation: While the firm’s prior website displayed photos of their impressive work, as do most interior design websites, it did not clarify why visitors should choose their firm over other designers.
The Solution:
Name and Logo: During our initial conversations, we asked the partners about their company name, A+T Interiors. “A+T” was reminiscent of the telecom company, awkward to type in a URL, and lacked an element of personal connection. While we did create logo options for A+T Interiors, we also presented an additional concept. In short, once the partners saw the new name idea in logo form, Alexis Taylor Interiors was born.
Key Messages: Effective websites and marketing materials require clear, thoughtful, customer-facing copy. One of the most significant benefits my clients receive is language they can use on social media, in emails, on print materials, in new business proposals, and even to guide phone conversations about the unique way they help customers. All of the copy we create comes from the details you convey during a comprehensive interview that follows the StoryBrand framework. The result: A website and communication materials that sell for you 24/7 as effectively as you sell in person!
Website: Alexis Taylor Interiors’ new homepage uses the StoryBrand copywriting framework to empathize with customer pain points. The About page highlights the duo’s authority. The Packages section lays out the specific ways the firm solves customer problems. The StoryBrand content formula works every single time! Once the client approved the copy, I passed it off to my team at New Tricks who brought the words to life using thoughtful design and functionality.
Branded Materials: In preparation for the launch of the new brand and website, we created new business cards, notecards, and social media icons. Branded MailChimp, Google Slides, Google Docs, and Google Sheets templates ensure a consistent look and feel across all customer-facing materials. A thoughtfully written email communication announced the new company name and directed recipients to the new website.
The Results: The new Alexis Taylor Interiors website launched in December 2020. In January 2021, the team experienced their most profitable month ever and reported a noticeable increase in requests for home renovation guidance – exactly the business area they wanted to grow.
The Bonus: I was so impressed with Alexis and Taylor, I enlisted their help with my own home renovation!
